What The Hell Is A Valet?

I was scrambling around this morning for yet another flight, when I realized that I could probably use a valet to help keep me organized. Exiting my private space through the trapdoor and down the ladder toward the garage however, another thought crossed my mind...

What the hell is a valet anyway?

I had little time to give it any continued thought as I straddled the crotch rocket and zipped underneath the slowly rising overhead door. I only had 20 minutes to get to the plane, and it was normally a 30 minute drive by car.

Of course, it is a company jet and it wouldn't leave without me, but hey, a schedule is a schedule...right?

Anyway, I made it on time and strapped in for the two-hour flight. Once we were in the air however, my mind wandered back to the earlier question. Opening up my laptop, I looked up just what the hell a valet was:

val·et
vaˈlā,ˈvalā,ˈvalit/
noun
  1. 1.
a man's personal male attendant, responsible for his clothes and appearance.

Personally, I found the definition rather constricting. 'A man's personal male attendant?'

Firstly, this is the 21st century! Some of my best operatives are women, not to mention the president of the company. Don't they have the right to be organized also.

Secondly, I'm not sharing my living space with another man, I don't care how cute he is!

As my man Joe bright would say: "That's just bullshit, you piss-ant!"

So, to make a long story short, I have added 'getting organized' to my ever-growing to-do list. And since I'm always up for helping others, I thought I might share some of my thoughts here.

It won't be the only thing up for discussion on this blog, but I'm not really certain what anyone wants to hear. Anyway, it's a start!

The plane is about to land, however, and my mind needs to get back to the case at hand. I'm hoping to have this current kidnapping wrapped up in a couple of days, so I may write more then if I have any enlightening moments.

In the mean time, let me know if you have any thoughts on my new personal improvement endeavor...and as always...

How May I Help You?
